Welcome to chapelvalleyvoice.com the unofficial voice of the people of the Chapel Valley area of Rapid City, South Dakota.

I started this website to increase interest in issues that affect all of us who live in the Chapel Valley area and allow all of you a means to communicate your views and ideas on these issues with others who live in the area. 

This site is open to the residents of the Chapel Hills area as well as the various homeowners’ associations who represent them and the members of the Chapel Valley Water Association. 

This site has a forum where you can post any message or item of interest that you wish, you can also comment on any message posted on the forum.  All posts and comments on the forum are able to be viewed by anyone who visits this site. 

This site also contains a chat room where people can meet as a group and discuss anything that interests them.  There is a private chat function there that allows you to chat with another member and your posts are only able to be viewed by each other.  Otherwise in the general chat posts are able to be viewed by anyone who is in the room at the time.  There is no record kept of posts in the chat room nor is there a history that allows anyone to look back and see what was posted before they entered. 

To submit items for entry other than on the forum page, please email them to gardenforge@yahoo.com then I can simply cut and paste them to a new or existing page on this site.

If there is an interest I can add a photo gallery with space for up to 50 photos or I can add a page with a slide show if you send me the photos.

Caveats: 

Keep your posts respectful and polite.  No "flame wars". 

You can attack the message but not the messenger.

You may post anything you like in the forum but remember that I have editorial discretion to delete inappropriate posts but I will use it only as a last resort.
